User Authentication Configuration

12 Under the CNX Configuration object, click “User Authentication”.

Result: The Aastra CNX User Authentication attribute fields display.

Note: Users may be authenticated against a secure local database stored on the Aastra CNX, or

against an external server. The Aastra CNX first tries the local database, then the Network

Information Service (NIS), then Windows. System administrators must be authenticated locally on

the Aastra CNX.
